When your wages are paid out, it is important that the employer (in accordance with section 24 of the main collective agreement) simultaneously transfers the percentage fees for union dues, insurance, and pension to Føroya Arbeiðarafelag (the Faroese Workers' Union).

As of today, the fees are:

• FA percentage fee (union dues): 1.5%

• Insurance: 1.5%

• Pension: 12% (employer contribution)

• Local union fee: This fee varies from union to union, see here.
