What is the term of notice for permanently employed employees?

Employee termination must be based on reasonable grounds. The employer must give grounds in writing should the terminated worker demand it. Grounds for termination may be demanded if you have been with the employer for more than nine months.

  • If the length of the employment is shorter than 6 months, then the term of notice is: 1 month to the 1st of the month
  • If the length of the employment is from 6 months to 2 years, then the term of notice is: 2 months to the 1st of the month
  • If the length of the employment is longer than 2 years, then the term of notice is: 3 months to the 1st of the month.

For workers, the term of notice is one month to the 1st of the month.
